Inconvenient Love

BRING BACK INCONVENIENCE!

There was a time when people would go the mile for family and friends.

When people were open to serving and being present for their family and friends.

But these days, we are plagued with so much selfishness wrapped up in self care and self love, that important friendships and relationships are suffering.

👉🏾You wouldn't attend your friend's birthday hang out or visit them because 'I don't really feel like being around people. People stress me out...i just want some ME TIME'

👉🏾You wouldn't relate with people because, 'their energy..they give me b@d vibes.' Or the worst... 'Our zodiac signs don't usually get along'

My goodness!!!

👉🏾You get a message from someone on your phone, you open it to read, you left it unanswered, and you keep on posting on your status. When the person speaks up on how disrespectful it is to ignore them, you go on about 'you are not the one that bought me a phone, I can do whatever I please, I can choose to reply to you or not'.

Since when are we normalizing rudeness, disrespect, and selfishness as a sign or maturity and self care.

Oh.. I get it now..

WOKENESS!

Bring back INCONVENIENCE.

When human relationship was valued.

When dating was not a game of who called who first.

When you get over yourself and visit your friend who's unwell, but lives in that compound with neighbors who don't like you.

When you respond to messages promptly and apologize for delayed response or seeming disrespect.

When we actually valued one another.

The enemy is trying to isolate you so he can have you all to himself, to tempt you to choose comfort over sacrifice.

Solitude over company.

And you are letting him.

It is not an inconvenience.

It is Love

'I am not the calling type'

Was Jesus the dy1ng type?

Phewwww.

Bring back love. Bring back care. Bring back being considerate. Bring back humanity.

Love you🌹
